Milan B. Reed, 81, Lenexa, KS, passed away at his home on Monday, January 19, 2009. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
Milan was born in Dodgeville, WI on July 9, 1927, living in Lenexa, KS the past 36 years. He was employed as an Animal Nutritionist with the Minnesota Department of Agriculture until his retirement in 1990. He was a member of Harvest Ridge Covenant Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Lucille, his parents, two brothers, and a granddaughter.
He leaves a daughter, Susan (James) Evers; sons, Alan and Philip; daughter, Marianne (Tim Weston); brothers, Dean and Vernon Reed; sister, Fern Cook; five grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
