In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mike's honor to the Coach Mike Wallace Memorial Scholarship. Donations can be made at https://gkccf.kimbia.com/wall09. This scholarship will be awarded annually to one Olathe East track and field student/athlete who applies for the scholarship. We will expect this student/athlete to exhibit the traits so many adored in our dad. They must be tough as nails, hard-working, full of heart, driven to succeed and team-oriented. We appreciate your generous donations in helping keep our dad's legacy alive. We know this would make him proud.
We would like to compile a book of all the wonderful stories about Mike that we can pass on to his grandchildren. If you would like to do so, please email those to taylormwallace@gmail.com. We greatly appreciate it.
