Michele Rader, 61, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2022. She was born on August 22, 1960 in Wichita, Kansas to Bobby and Della (Redd) Miller.
Michele grew up in Wichita and Douglass, KS. She graduated from Douglass High School in 1978. She married the love of her life, John Rader on September 27, 1980 in Pittsburg, KS. She graduated from Memphis State University in 1992 with her Bachelor's in Nursing Degree. She worked as a nurse for 22 years at Olathe Medical Center. Her most favorite thing to do was to be with her grand babies.
Michele is survived by her loving husband, John Rader; children, Aimee (Kyle) Fleeman of Lenexa, KS; James Rader of Overland Park, KS; and Andrew (Valerie Milburn) Rader of Olathe, KS, as well as her brother Michael Miller (Tresa) of Wichita, KS. Michele has 4 grand children; Alexis, Parker, Jack and Axel and one more grand baby due June of 2022, Levi.
She was preceded in death by her Parents Bobby James and Della Juanita Miller (Wichita, KS).
The family will receive guests for a visitation from 1:00-2:00pm on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at Penwell Gabel's Olathe Chapel, with the funeral service following at 2:00pm. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Overland Park, KS.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions in Michele's memory be made to Stroke Awareness Foundation.
