Michael (Mike) McAnally passed away peacefully at home on 6/14. He leaves his wife of 37 years, Diana; sister Kim Roloff (Rick); son Michael (Brandi), daughter Heather Lank (Mark); parents Wes & Leu; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother Mark.
Mike attended Ruskin High School and was in the U.S. Army prior to being employed at Commercial Lithograph for 28 years, where he retired 11/23/15. His passion was helping others and caring for the homeless living under the bridges in downtown Kansas City and was known by them as the Tie Dye Guy for the shirts he always wore. He had a great sense of humor and loved his dogs, the Kansas City Chiefs, and both women's and men's soccer.
Rather than flowers, the family suggests donations to Wayside Waifs.
The memorial service will be held at 6:30 pm on 8/28 at the Lee's Summit United Methodist Church, 114 SE Douglas St, with visitation at 5:30. Casual dress.
