Michael K. Harmon, 65, of Olathe, KS passed away Monday October 15, 2012. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to Omega Health Care 7398 W. 162nd Terr. Stilwell, KS 66085.
Mike was born November 8, 1946 in Kansas City, MO to Horace and Betty Harmon. He graduated in 1965 from Westport High School and then went on to join the US Navy where he served in Vietnam. After his military service he attended the University of Missouri at Kansas City, where he obtained his MBA before retiring from Sprint.
He was preceded in death by his mother Betty Louise McIntyre Harmon Dietz, his father Horace Harmon and his brother David Riley Cox.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years Paula Harmon, his sisters Suzanne Harmon Konecny of Denver, CO and Janeen deVries and husband Coulter of Kansas City, MO. Nieces and nephews; Joshua Shea, Jill Jolicoeur, Ryan Konecny, Erin Zeller, Lauren Harmon deVries, and Rebecca Konecny.
