Merle M. Stone, 76, Olathe, KS passed away Thurs. Oct. 27, 2005. The family suggests contributions to the American Heart Assc. and/or Hospice of Olathe Medical Center.
Merle was born Mar. 25, 1929 in Baxter Spring, KS living in Olathe the past 33 years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam Conflict, retiring in 1973 after 20 years. He later retired from Sprint after 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife; Wilmagean Stone in 2002.
He leaves daughters; Carol Byrd and Jennifer Vest, 4 grandchildren; Matthew Applebaugh, Melissa Hanson, Austin Vest, and Hayley Vest, and 2 great grandchildren; Colby and Aiden Hanson.
