Melvin D. Loux, 64, Olathe, KS passed away Saturday, December 22, 2007 at Olathe Medical Center. The family suggests contributions to the American Diabetes Foundation.
Melvin was born June 26, 1943 in Manhattan, Kansas, grew up in Ottawa, Kansas, and has lived in Olathe the past 26 years. He was a graduate of Ottawa High School and Rockhurst College. He was a retired Postal Clerk for the Shawnee Mission Post Office. He also owned the "Tax Man" Inc. for 28 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Norma Loux; and a son, Melvin Edward Loux.
He leaves his wife of 42 years, Carolyn; son, Scott (Colleen); grandchildren, Chaise, Jessey, Jordyn, Scott, Courtney, and Trisha; sister, Janet Wilke; a brother, Philip Loux.
