Melvin Knoche, 69, Bucyrus, Kansas, passed away Monday, November 7, 2011.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Olathe Hospice House.

He graduated from Stanley High School in 1960 and join the U.S. Navy with his cousin LeRoy Young from 1962-1964. He was a member of the Stanley Community Church and member and Past Master of Stanley Masonic Lodge #444.
His love of the outdoors, fishing and hunting, was passed on to his kids. Melvin was an avid story teller and loved telling a good joke. His sense of humor and love of life will be missed.
His home was always open to his kid's friends where many memories and happy times were shared.
