Melanie Jan Durrell-Scrivner, 56, of Overland Park, KS passed away November 13, 2014. Melanie was born January 18, 1958.
Survivors include her husband Tom, daughter Amanda Schurman-Chard, her husband Matt and daughters Joey and Charlie; daughter Jessica Scrivner, her children Brianna, Aden, Zane and Lela Kent. Siblings Cindy Choplin, Lesly Cook, Lorena Hadsall, Charles, Tad, Jesse and Brad Atterbury.
The family will receive friends for a memorial visitation from 5:00-8:00pm on Monday, November 17th at Penwell Gabel Olathe Chapel.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to Prairie Paws Shelter in Ottawa, KS where she adopted her beloved dog Libby. http://prairiepaws.org/ (Please copy and paste the URL into your browser)
She leaves behind a large, loving tribe of family and friends.
