Melanie Sue (Montgomery) Hays, 57, of Grandview, MO, formerly of Olathe, Kansas passed away Sunday, January 29, 2006 at the University of Kansas Medical Center. The family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society.
Melanie was born May 26, 1948 in Kansas City, MO to Merrill and Lois Montgomery. Her father preceded her in death. She was a graduate of Olathe North High School Class of 1966.
Melanie was an administrative assistant for J.C. Nichols Real Estate of Overland Park and later at Reese & Nichols Realtors Corporate Office.
She leaves her husband; Kurt Hays of the home, son; Robert & wife Tricia Masterson, and their children; Jordan and Jacob, daughter; Sara & husband Chris Glass of Robertsdale, Alabama and their children; Shania and Joshua, mother and step-father; Lois & Bob Stewart, brother; Bob & wife Melinda Montgomery and their children; Ashley and Neal, and many other relatives and friends.
Melanie will be missed, but not forgotten and is at peace with the Lord.
