Maxine Brown

MAXINE ILENE BROWN, Age 80, went home to be with the Lord, November 4, 2007. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 6 at 6:30 -8:30 pm at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 14275 S. Blackbob Rd., Olathe, followed by funeral services on Wednesday, November 7 at 1:00 p.m., at Fellowship Baptist Church, 1325 S Ridgeview Rd., Olathe, KS. Interment, Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family suggests memorials to the Gideon Bible Society, The Gideons International, Post Office Box 140800, Nashville, TN 37214-0800.

Maxine was born June 8, 1927 in Elmira, MO. She married Harold Brown in December, 1945. She was active in Fellowship Baptist Church, and loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Harold, her children, Gary (Beverly) Brown, Patricia Foster, Pamela (Bruce) Taylor, her grandchildren; Devin, Quincy, Tyson, Kimberly, Christa, Jeff, Janece, Joshua, Jessica, Zachary, and Bethany, and 15 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her twin sister, Christine Fredericks. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and three brothers.
