Max Kaplan, 87, of Olathe, Kansas, passed away Friday, February 03, 2012.
Max was born December 21, 1924 in Jonesboro, Arkansas living in the Kansas City area most of life. He was a graduate of Paseo High School in Kansas City. Max served in WWII in the U.S. Army Air Corps and as an Army Ranger. He was an engineer and land surveyor. He moved back to Kansas City in 1950 where he had a consulting engineering business and worked for the Missouri Water Company.
He was active in the Junior Chamber Commerce, local politics and the Independence West Rotary, where he served as President.
He married his present wife Verna in Oct. 1996 and they moved to Olathe in 2003 where he resided until his death.
He is survived by his wife Verna and son Al.
