Matthew Taylor Honea

MATTHEW TAYLOR HONEA, age 18, passed away March 16, 2010 in Overland Park, KS.
Matthew was born November 27, 1991 in Shawnee Mission, KS to Joseph and Anne-Marie Honea. Matthew was a graduate of Olathe South High School, and was planning to attend Johnson County Community College in the fall. He was active in both football and basketball, and enjoyed vacations to Florida with his family, fishing, BMX bike-riding, his Playstation "Call of Duty", and spending time with his girlfriend and many friends.
Matthew is survived by his parents, grandparents Bonnie and Jim Bowman, Marie Brotz and George Brotz, and Joseph Honea, Sr., aunts and uncles; Michael Brotz, Angie Brotz, Susan Brotz, Andrea Maples, and Mark Honea, his cousins, Tyler and Sydney Brotz, Alexandra Maples, Mark Honea, Jr., and Marlene Honea. He is also survived by his long-time devoted girlfriend, Kathy Summers, and a host of loving friends.
