Marylou Stahl, 81, of Overland Park, passed away on April 2, 2016. She was born on February, 27,1935 to Russell and Mary(Leddick) Messmer in Reading, PA.
Marylou is survived by her children Deborah Honeywell (Lee), Bonnie Martin (Steve), and Timothy Stahl. She is also survived by her grandchildren Dana Frey, Jeffrey Martin, Karla Honeywell, Erin Landau, and Lara Henderson and spouses. Marylou leaves 8 great grandchildren. Marylou is also survived by her sister, Patricia Ann Wooley.
Marylou grew up in Baltimore and was a former resident of Florida, Pennsylvania, and Georgia before moving to Johnson County thirty years ago to be closer to her family. She retired from Siemen's Corporation after twenty years of service. Marylou had a lifelong passion for classical music and loved her family deeply.
The family will receive guests for a visitation on Wednesday, April 6, 2016, 12:30 pm at Penwell Gabel Funeral Home in Olathe, Kansas. A funeral service will follow at 1:30 pm with burial in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Bethany Lutheran Church, 9101 Lamar Ave, Overland Park, KS 66207.
