MaryAnn Nicol, Age 60, passed away August 13, 2008 at her sisters home in Olathe, Ks. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 15 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 14275 S. MaryAnn was born on October 1, 1947 to Howard Rothwell and MaryEllen Rothwell Gaeta. She was employed with Waffle House in Gardner and Olathe, and worked within the restaurant industry most of her life.
She is survived by her mother, MaryEllen Gaeta, her children, J. Michael (Anna) Loyd, Rhonda (Ron) Caudill, and Brenda Davis, her sisters, Mollie Brown, Angie Wiederholt, RuthAnn Austermuhl, her brothers Tony Gaeta, Joe Gaeta, and John Gaeta, grandchildren Lauren, Elizabeth, Travis, Ethan, Jordan, Harlee, Josh and Brandon, and one great-grandchild, Delia Sammons, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Rose Gotcher, brother Paul Rothwell, and her father.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society.
