Mary Leola Berg

Mary Leola Berg, age 82, died October 31, 2014 at Villa St. Francis of Olathe,
Kansas.
Miss Berg was born January 4, 1932 to Roy A. and Glenna E. (Sloan)
Berg on a farm west of Thayer, Kansas. She attended Lone Elm school, a one
room country school near Thayer, for her first eight grades. She graduated from
Altoona Rural High School as Valedictorian of her class. She also attended
Chanute Junior College.
Mary Leola spent most of her adult years in nursing homes. Preceding her in death were her parents and two brothers, an infant - Roy Junior, and Charles Lynn.
Surviving are two brothers, Glen Roy and Rollen Wayne and one sister, Betty June
(Berg) Johnson.
Mary Leola was cremated and a private family burial is planned.
