Mary Ellen Kucinski, 76, of Olathe, passed away on November 2, 2018 at Good Samaritan Nursing Center.
She was born on May 27, 1942 to Joseph and Helen (Kasheta) Hacken in Buffalo, NY.
Mary worked as an Administrative Assistant for First Data Resources in Omaha, NE.
On June 23, 1962 , she married Gerald (Jerry) Kucinski. Mary and Jerry resided in West Seneca, NY and Omaha, NE, retiring to The Villages, FL.
She was a member of the St. Theresa Catholic Church of Belleview, FL, the Buffalo Club of Omaha, and The Villages Pottery Club. Mary enjoyed working at the St. Theresa soup kitchen, doting on dogs, and hours of laughter with family and friends.
Mary is survived by her loving son, Jerry Kucinski, daughter-in-law Jennifer (Hampton) Kucinski, of Olathe, sister Carol (Hacken) Bogenrieder and brother Joseph Hacken of Buffalo, NY, along with nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald P. Kucinski, Jill M. (Kucinski) Tuttle, Father, Joseph Hacken, and Mother, Helen Hacken.
Visitation will be held Saturday, November 10, 2018, 2:00 pm at Penwell-Gabel Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Olathe, Kansas.
Memorials are suggested to Unleashed Pet Rescue of Mission, KS.
