Mary Gruss

Mary Gruss, 77, sadly passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2024. She was surrounded by dear friends when she entered into her final rest.

Mary was born on September 23, 1946, in Tiffin, OH. She spent much of her life working for the FAA in Olathe, KS. She was dedicated to her career and had many accomplishments. She always enjoyed her work. She was known and loved by many who worked with and alongside her.

Mary was a follower of Jesus and trusted in the goodness of God throughout her life. She placed her hope in the eternity that awaits her in Heaven.

Mary was a beloved friend to many, was very generous, and was a well-loved member of the family of Olathe Christian Church. She loved the OWLS group she was a part of and enjoyed the fellowship she experienced there.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Pat.

Mary is survived by her two brothers, James and his spouse in Denmark, and John and his spouse in Virginia. She was always smiling, appreciative, generous, and thankful. She will forever be missed.

There will be a celebration of life service for Mary on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at 10:00am at Olathe Christian Church in Olathe, KS. Any flowers and cards may be sent there.

Memorial donations may be made to and left with Olathe Christian Church.
