Mary Jeanne Brady, 63, Olathe, KS passed away Friday, June 30, 2006 in Olathe, KS. The family suggests contributions to Project Finish (Jeanne Brady Memorial) 1477 E. 151st Street, Olathe, KS 66062.
Jeanne was born March 8, 1943 in Elkhart, Indiana. She was a 1961 graduate of Incarnate Word Academy in St. Louis, MO. She was a 1965 graduate of Fontbonne University in St. Louis, MO and received her Masters degree through Loyolla University. In 1966 she married Patrick M. Brady (who preceded her in death in 1992) and they moved to Olathe in 1975. She devoted her life to her family and church teaching at St. Paul's Catholic School in Olathe, directing the Religious Education Program at St. Paul's Catholic Church, and finishing her career as the Consultant of Reglious Education for the Archdiocese of Kansas City, Kansas until her retirement in 2004.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers; John A. Gertken, II and Thomas G. Gertken.
She leaves behind two daughters; Kathleen Schneider and Sheilah A. Brady and their families, brothers; William, Joseph, James, and G. Michael Gertken, sister; Jo-Ann Gertken, a special friend Tom Huffman, and many loving family and friends.
