Mary Ann Nagy, 83, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away on Friday, December 23, 2022. She was born on November 12, 1939 in Norton, Kansas to Charles and Unafaye (Williams) Simpson.
Mary Ann was the oldest of four children. She was raised in Colby, Kansas and attended Kansas State University. Her junior and senior years in college, Mary Ann was the lead baton twirler for the university's band. She married her husband on June 6, 1964. She worked and retired from AT&T after approximately 27 years and Sprint after approximately 15 years. Mary Ann volunteered at the St. Joseph Medical Center gift shop for approximately 10 years.
Mary Ann is survived by her children, Sandor "Mick" Nagy III and Shawna (husband Thaddeus) Pacheco; grandchildren, Sandor Nagy IV, Madison Grieve, Olivia Grieve, Seth Pacheco and Kane Pacheco; and her great granddaughter, Mila Grieve.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sandor Nagy II; daughter, Suzann Nagy; and granddaughter, Nevaeh Pacheco.
