Marvin C. "Mark" Smith, 56, of Olathe, passed away on November 16, 2018 at Olathe Hospice House.
He was born on October 8, 1962 in Ventura, CA, and on September 7, 1991, he married Margaret "Margie" S. Bottorff.
Mark and his wife, Margie, were the owners/operator of The Brickyard in Olathe, KS for the past 18 years.
Mark enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, riding his motorcycle, shooting and hunting.
Mark is survived by his loving wife, Margie, and their son, Ethan, his brothers Greg A. Smith, Randy Smith, Jack Wilson, Rex Wilson, his sister Becky McCarthy, and a large, loving extended family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin G. Smith, mother, Tacey Kniffen, and his step-father, Wayne T. Kniffen.
Memorials are suggested to the Olathe Hospice House.
A Celebration of Life will be held at The Brickyard in Olathe, Kansas on Saturday, December 1, from 3:00-6:00pm.
