Marsha Diann Rose

August 26, 1949 — October 16, 2020

Marsha Diann Rose, 71, of Olathe, Ks. went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 16, 2020 at Olathe Medical Center.

She was born August 26, 1949 to Wesley Ched Blue and Betty Jean Blue in Springfield, Mo. After moving to Kansas City, Ks. as a child, the family settled in Shawnee Mission, Ks.

After graduating from Shawnee Mission North High School in 1967 she went on to college at Southwest Missouri State where she met her beloved husband of 51 years Neil Albert Rose. They were married on February 15, 1969 and after several military stations they made their home in Olathe, Ks.

Diann was a U.S. Army wife for over 23 years where she and Neil were stationed in places like Germany, Fort Devens, Mass., Fort Leonard Wood and Washington, Mo., and Fort Polk, La. before Neil retired as a First Sergeant. She loved serving her country alongside Neil. Diann also worked in the nursing home business, was a lifelong homemaker, but perhaps her greatest love was being a wife, mother of two boys, a grandmother of three, an Aunt to numerous nieces and nephews, a Great Aunt, a sister of two, and an amazing friend. She unconditionally loved everyone and everyone loved and adored her. She had a heart for loving and taking care of people.

Diann is survived by her two loving sons Craig D. Rose and his wife Rita, and her other son Jeffrey S. Rose and his companion Dee McMillin, her grandchildren Jayden Foster, Rylan Foster, and Taylor Riley Rose-McMillin. She is also survived by her sisters Jan Aumiller and husband Richard, and Cindi Jones and her husband Greg, as well as many nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends that loved her greatly.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband and parents.

She is and always will be dearly loved and missed. We'll see you in Heaven Mom!!!
