Mark Yager, 60, of Kansas City, Mo., passed away on October 14, 2018.
Mark was born on May 13, 1958 in Kansas City, Mo. to Paul and Allie Ann Yager. He attended East High School in Kansas City before going on to graduate from Washburn University in 1981, where he played football for a year. After graduation he began working as an accountant at the University of Kansas Medical Center where he retired in January of 2018. Mark was an avid hunter and fisherman, and enjoyed spending time with his nephews.
Mark is survived by his father, Paul, of Warsaw, Mo.; his brother, Gary Yager (Widge) of Topeka, Kan.; and his nephews Tyson (Emily) Yager and Tab Yager. He is also survived by his step-mother, Martha Yager; step-sister Coleen Bolenger; and his step-brothers Mike and Jeff Todd.
He was preceded in death by his mother Allie Ann Yager in 1959.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Kansas City Zoo.
