Mark Edward Maranda, age 66, of Olathe, KS, passed away September 5, 2014 at Menorah Medical Center.
He was born October 11, 1947 in Muncie, Indiana and resided in Olathe, KS. Mark graduated in 1965 from Muncie Central High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving from 1966 thru 1968.
Mark worked for Woolworth/Woolco for eight years, from 1962-1970. In 1971, he went to work for International Harvester/Navistar International and after 38 years retired in 2009.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Patsy (Pat) Maranda; mother Marjorie Maranda; brother Todd Maranda; mother-in-law Rita Ledbetter; brother-in-law George Ledbetter(Lana); nephews Tom Maranda, Raith, Clay and Ryan Ledbetter; great-nephews Cameron and Collin Ledbetter, and great-nieces Lizzy and Malina Ledbetter.
He was preceded in death by his father Paul Maranda, and brother-in-law Steve Ledbetter (Kathie).
Private family services are being planned.
