Mark Christian Endsley, 47, lost his battle with cancer on June 11, 2021 at the Kansas City Hospice House. Mark was born on August 6, 1973 in Sioux Falls, SD. Mark is survived by his parents, Jim and Mary Ann Dinkins, Germantown, TN, and Bill and Lorie Endsley, Overland Park, KS, sisters and brothers, Noelle Endsley, Jenny Smolen (John), Ingrid Ahrens (Craig), Lisa Nelson (Gabe), Mike Dinkins (Jackie), and Doug Rief, beloved aunts and uncles, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mark attended Shawnee Mission West High School and Kansas State University. His love of the high school debate team, yearbook team, participation in numerous school and summer productions, eventually led Mark to the job staffing/recruitment industry during the past several years.
Mark had many different roles across his lifetime and all led to friendships he enjoyed for years. He never met a stranger and those he spent time with were quickly embraced by his warm and inclusive friendship.
Mark had a loving heart, was a technical wizard, had a sharp wit and playful sense of humor, and was a great champion for many friends and co-workers. He was loved by all those who knew him.
Our special thank you and deep appreciation to the Kansas City Hospice House and Heartland Hospice Services in St. Louis for their loving and generous care of Mark. Mark described all the nurses as "My Favorite Nurse," and their description of Mark was "To Know Mark Is to Love Him."
You are safe our sweet son and brother.
The family is planning a Birthday/Celebration of Life memorial in August.
