February 18, 1935 — August 6, 2020

Marjorie Loree Stoner, 85, formerly of Olathe, passed away on August 6, 2020 in Fontana, KS. She was surrounded by family that loved her and was able to spend the day prior enjoying a BBQ with her great grand children.

She was born on February 18, 1935 to James and Mildred (Sharp) Johns at Osawatomie, KS. She was one of eight children in total.

On November 20th, 1952, she married Robert L. Stoner, and they made their home in Olathe, Kansas. She and Robert owned one home in Olathe and filled that home with two sons, a lifetime of memories that will be carried in the hearts of her loved ones and two sheds full of treasures acquired by her auction adventures with Bob. They were inseparable and supported all of the grandchildren in attaining their goals whether it was college, raising children or military ambitions.

Marjorie worked as a Designer/Fabricator for the Hyer Boot Company for over 29 years. She designed custom boot patterns for several celebrities including Roy Rogers, George Brett and others.

She was a member of Eastern Star. She enjoyed going to auctions and collecting angels, t-cups and saucers, depression glass and various antiques. She was an artist evidenced by her superior skill in the art of ceramics and painting. She loved going dancing with Bob and was a fantastic roller skater in her youth.
