Funeral Mass for Marion Driessen, age 84, will be held Tuesday, June 29 at 11:00 am at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 900 Larkspur, Olathe, KS. Burial will follow in the Resurrection Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 28, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 14275 S. Blackbob Rd., Olathe, with Recitation of the Rosary at 6:00 p.m. Memorials are suggested to St. Luke's Hospice, the American Cancer Society or to St. Paul's Catholic Church.
Marion passed away on Friday, June 25, 2010 at her daughter Barbara's home in Lake Winnebago, MO. She was born on Jan 26, 1926 in Appleton, WI to Henry and Viola Boyle.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, William Driessen in 1989.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Edward) Coyle, Charlene Hatfield of Belton, MO, and Jeff (Ramona) Driessen of Olathe, KS, six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren, her grand-dog, "Patches" of Lake Winnebago, MO, brother Norman (Esther) Boyle of Newton, Iowa, and sister Donna (Ronnie) West of Leesburg, FL, and her extended family in Wisconsin.
She is loved and will be deeply missed.
