Marilyn Claire Barker, 65, of Olathe, KS passed away August 27, 2015.
Marilyn was born October 29,1949 in Houston, TX to Ernest Munn Jenkins and Ardell Hartsfield Jenkins. She graduated from Union College in Lincoln, NE where she met the love of her life. She later obtained a BS in Accounting from Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, MO. Her passion was taking care of her family, and she was a devoted wife and mother. She was a lovely lady who brightened up the room wherever she went. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years Guy Barker, and her two daughters: Julie Barker and Kristal Barker. In addition, she is survived by her brother Ken Jenkins.
She was preceded in death by her father Ernest Munn Jenkins and her mother Ardell Hartsfield Jenkins.
