Margaret Owens

Margaret Ellen Owens, 87, of Olathe, passed away on January 5, 2015. Margaret was born on September 30, 1927 to William and Hallie Taylor in Catron, Missouri. She spent her youth in southeast Missouri on the family farm. She spent her adult life in California, southeast Missouri, St. Louis, Georgia and retired to Olathe in 1990. She had a love for children, baking, the outdoors and her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Paula Renee Owens; sisters Virginia Thompson, Beatrice Sutton, Sharon Anderson, Rita Miller; and brothers Chester "Bud" Taylor, James "Billy" Taylor, and J.H. "Bo" Taylor.

Survivors include her sons Greg (Ann) Owens and Rick Owens; sisters Betty Price and Connie Thomas; granddaughter Nichole (Eric) Graham; great grandchildren Jude, Gage, and Avry Graham; and several nieces, nephews, and their children.
