Margaret J. Stone, 88, passed away, Jan. 17, 2009, at her home in Olathe, Kansas.
She was born November 19, 1920, in Wichita, the daughter of Philip and Margaret Lewis.
After attending Friends University, she taught Elementary School in Wichita, then became a reference librarian in Wichita, Hutchinson, Westminister, CO, Hattiesburg, MS, Tulsa, OK.
On August 17, 1957 she married Ronald B. Stone kin Hutchinson, for a marriage that lasted 51 years.
Survivors include: her husband Ronald B. Stone of the home, a daughter, Ann Waugh of Lenexa, KS, a brother Philip Lewis of Los Angeles, CA, two grandchildren Reid Jolly of Overland Park and Colin Waugh of Lenexa and on niece Janet Lewis of Ventura, CA.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to the National Osteoporosis Foundation, Attention: Memorials, 1232 22nd Street NW, Washington, DC 20037-1292.
