Margaret I. Davis, devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away suddenly at Menorah Medical Center on Sunday, September 15, 2024 in Overland Park, Kansas. She was a resident of Olathe, Kansas for 35 years.

Margaret (“Marge” to friends and family) was born to Joseph and Eva Frisch of Mansfield, Ohio on March 12, 1944. She was a graduate of St. Mary’s grade school in 1958 and St. Peter’s High School in 1962, both schools in Mansfield, Ohio. She retired from Sprint after working there for 35 years and was a cashier for Payless Discount Foods in Olathe, Kansas since 1995. 

Margaret is survived by her loving husband, Michael P. Davis of Olathe, Kansas, to whom she married on April 20, 1963, her son, Michael T. Davis of Columbus, Ohio, her daughter, Susan L. Davis (husband, Michael Michalski) of Mansfield, Ohio, her sister, Frances Gillrup of Birmingham, Alabama, nephews Eric Hebert of Birmingham, Alabama, Douglas Hebert (wife, Virginia) of Haleiwa, Hawaii. Her surviving grandchildren include her grandson Stephen Michalski of Columbus, Ohio, her granddaughter Eva Michalski of Mansfield, Ohio, her granddaughter Melissa Wirick (husband, Kyle Wirick) of Mansfield, Ohio and her step-grandson Joseph Michalski of Newark, Ohio. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren Lucas Gentile, Kruze and Knox Wirick, and step great-granddaughter Annalee Michalski.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

In keeping with Margaret’s wishes, we respectfully request that no flowers or condolence cards are sent, as there will be no services.
