Lyudmyla A. Zaporozhets was born on August 16, 1933 in the town of Bilopillya, Ukraine. She passed away October 13, 2018 at the age of 85, and was a resident of Olathe, KS.
Lyudmyla came to the United States to live with her daughter Tatiana and son-in-law, Alan Bargerstock, and their family in 2009.
Lyudmyla was a very loving, caring, and kind person. She never asked for much, and always thought about others first. She was very warm, selfless, and compassionate.
She loved spending time with her family and always appreciated the company of the family friends.
She enjoyed spending time outdoors, (especially visiting the Arboretum's Monet Garden) and loved to take trips to the Country Club Plaza. Lyudmyla also enjoyed the occasional visit to the local casino's, and she had a blast playing the slot machines.
She loved reading novels and watching romantic movies with happy endings. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchild, sharing holiday times with her family and friends, and having a good meal and a good laugh.
Her memory will be cherished forever by her brother, her daughter, two grandsons, and great grandchild (who was named in her honor).
Lyudmyla will always be in the hearts of her family and friends, lighting up their lives with her smile. Family was her life, and she will be dearly missed.
