Louis Sola

Louis Sola, 92, of Olathe, Kansas, passed away at the Olathe Hospice House on December 23, 2014. Donations may be given to Prince of Peace Catholic Church.

Lou was preceded in death by his father, Vincent, and mother, Nina. Lou was also preceded in death by his wife, Joyce, of 68 years and seven siblings.

Louis is survived by his brother, John Sola (Ruth) and sister Antoinette Labruzzo, his two sons, Vincent R. (Sandy) and Anthony L. (Linda). He was loved by his seven grandchildren, Tony, Gretchen, Mike, Jim, Debbie, Eddie and Rick and fifteen great-grandchildren, Kale, Kylie, Abby, Jake, Josh, Stephanie, Nick, Drew, Emily, Spencer, Joe, Sadi, Kaitlyn, Beckett and Lincoln.

Lou served in the Army during World War II and spent most of his duties in the Philippines. He was honorably discharged at the end of his tour of duty. He was a sales representative for Schlitz Brewing Company (Cooke Sales) most of his working years.

He will be missed by many friends and family, but will be remembered for his little grin he constantly shared.
