As a 6th grade assignment to write about a hero in her life, Tatum Roach wrote about her aunt Lori: "She's one of the toughest fighters. She's been through years of pain. I have never seen her without a smile. She is always hopeful, ready to share her happiness with the world." Sometimes she'd ask, "Why me?" but that was all. Lori's arthritis, diabetes, blood disease, spleen and liver finally got the best of her Friday March 23, at K.U. Med. Now she has regained her health, mobility, and ability to dance. Lori loved her calico cat, Sadie, her nieces and nephews as her own kids, her Jayhawks, her video games and her music. She was born June 28, 1965 and worked most recently at Prescription Solutions. She leaves her parents, Charlie and Kathy Roberts; her brothers, Chuck (Stacy) and David (Julie) Roberts; her sister, Susan Roach, nieces and nephews Alex, Cory, Katie, Matt, Nick, Amy, Tatum, Callie and Anna. The family suggests contributions to The Arthritis Foundation and Johnson County Developmental Supports.
