Lois F. Bohrn, 64, of Olathe, passed away on May 2nd, 2019. Lois was born on October 25, 1954 to Bill and Mary Lou Glass in Kansas City, Missouri and was raised in Clinton Missouri.

Lois met her husband, Gene, at the young age of 14, where they attended school together and were married right after graduation. During their loving marriage of 45 years, Lois and Gene had one child, Gina Joyelle who is the love of their life. After having Gina, Lois chose to stay home to be a full time mom. As a family, they enjoyed many years of family trips and special times together.

Lois was born with the ability to make all things beautiful. Her knack for interior design showed in the way their home was always both colorful and welcoming.

Over the last 10 years Lois worked as a caregiver in a group home for special needs adults, where she was loved dearly.

Lois will most be remembered for her kindness to all she knew. She was dedicated to her family and friends and gave of herself freely. Her life revolved around their daughter Gina and her husband Gene, but in the last years she also enjoyed spending time with her great nieces and nephews and her girl friends.

Lois is survived by her loving husband, Earl "Gene" Bohrn; her daughter, Gina Joyelle Bohrn; her siblings, Rodney Glass, Nelson Glass, and Rita Hieck; Uncle, Larry Glass; Nieces, Nephews and their spouses, Karlton Bohrn, Lesa Garcia, Randy Tucker, Shanon Tucker, Tamia Bohrn, Ryan Glass, Matthew Glass, Ashley Bowin, Michael Glass, Megan Johnson, Christine Glass, Jennifer Glass, Dominic Glass, Vincent Glass; and many Great Nieces and Nephews.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Lou and Bill Glass; her siblings, James Glass and Thomas Glass.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, May 6th, 2019 at Journey Bible Church in Olathe (13700 W. 151st, Olathe, KS 66062)

Memorial contributions may be given to Olathe Special Olympics.
