Logun H. Nelson, 52, of Overland Park, KS passed Friday, March 3, 2017. A celebration of his life will be held May 13th from 2-5pm at Nottingham by the Green Clubhouse, located at 12700 Oakmont in Overland Park, KS.
Logun was born December 22nd, 1964 in Santa Clara, CA to Patrick and Patricia Nelson. Logun grew up in Santa Cruz, CA where he enjoyed surfing and exploring the Santa Cruz Mountains. He also enjoyed skiing, sailing, playing airsoft and traveling. He was in the Marble and Granite business.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Patrick Nelson and Patricia Haynes.
He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Nelson, daughter Ella Nelson, niece Courtney Feemster and nephew Maxwell Feemster. He is also survived by several relatives, Maryanne Hoirup, Ely Bacolod, Becky and Jay Schultz, Christine and Mark Blanke, Travis and Laurel Schultz, Emma Blanke and Ecole Nelson.
Logun will be remembered as a good, caring, loving person. He was always someone that was there for others and was happy to lend a hand when asked. He was a wonderful husband, father and father figure to many. He will be missed immensely.
