LLOYD "RED" CLARENCE YOST, JR.
Of Olathe, KS, went home to be with the Lord on September 5, 2005. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 10, at 9:30a.m. at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 14275 S. Blackbob Rd., Olathe. Interment, Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, Olathe. The family will receive friends half an hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, remembrances are suggested to the Salvation Army.
Lloyd was born on September 8, 1936 in Omaha, NE to Lloyd and Mildred Yost. He served our country in the United States Marine Corps from 1956 to 1962. He worked for Western Electric and then for Santa Fe Terminal Services for 24 years. He is survived by his son David (Koran) Yost, daughters Lisa (Tim) Sturgis and Tricia (Jared) Sinclair, his sisters Beverly Hale and Bonnie Flemming, grandchildren Gerald, Christopher, Heather, Bryce, Cael, Camren, Katie, and Keagan, and great-grandson , Aidan.
