Lloyd Rethemeyer

Lloyd Edward Rethemeyer II, 65, of Olathe, passed away on August 7, 2016. He was born on September 6, 1950 to Dale and Mildred (Hoffman) Rethemeyer in Kansas City, MO.
He was a buyer in the steel industry for over 30 years. Lloyd was an avid fisherman, hunter and enjoyed spending time at the family cabin in the Ozarks.
He is survived by his loving wife Carol, children Alison (Jeremy) Lock of Overland Park, KS, Elisha (Jeremy) Moore of Normal, IL, Philip Evans of Long Island, NY and a brother Craig Rethemeyer of Peculiar, MO. Papa Lloyd is also survived by his two grandsons Joseph and James Lock and two nephews Robert and Austin Rethemeyer.
The family will receive guests for a visitation on Friday, August 12, 2016, from 5:00-7:00 pm at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home in Olathe. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 13, at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 7601 Blue Ridge Blvd, KCMO 64138.
