Lloyd "Keith" Hacker, 67, of Spring Hill, KS passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, October 16, 2021.
Keith was born April 24, 1954 in Hamilton, Ohio to Lloyd and Dailey Hacker.
Keith graduated from Ross High School in Ross Ohio. He joined the Navy in 1972 and served until 1978. He also served two terms in the Navy Reserves.
He spent most of his career in communications and retired from the USDA as an account manager.
Keith loved music and the bass guitar. He played on a worship team for several years. He was a Master Gardener, loved all things architectural, loved horses and had fulfilled a lifelong dream of owning horses. Keith had a great sense of humor, there was always laughter when you spent time with him. Keith will be greatly missed by his family.
Keith was preceded in death by his parents Lloyd and Dailey Hacker and his sister Emily Theis.
Keith is survived by his wife Darlene Hacker, daughters Leyla Mowdy (James), Julia Hacker (Kent Steiner), Leslie Hacker and son John Hacker (Karime). Stepchildren Ashley Hanet (Tyler), Alex Mendenhall (Chelsie Renda), Abbey Mendenhall (Seth Herzog), Sister Glenna Whitaker (Eddie), Brother-in-law Tommy Theis, grandchildren Leif and Jewels Mowdy, Kinleigh, Olivia and Maverick Hanet, Harper Mendenhall and Chloe Sengphong and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 5PM-7PM Thursday October 21st at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, Olathe Chapel. His funeral will be 9AM Friday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home followed by interment at Leavenworth National Cemetery.
