Lisa Hoffman

Lisa Marie Hoffman, 62 of Olathe, KS passed away April 7, 2025. She was born April 22, 1962 in Kansas City, MO to Robert Hoffman and Barbara Dines Hoffman.

Lisa attended Paola High School, graduating in 1980. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business at Emporia State University in 1987. She worked for Sprint, Embarq, and United Health Group, retiring in 2024.

Her car accident in 1981 left her a quadriplegic. She was fearless in the face of life’s challenges and overcame it all to live a full and wonderful life. If you knew her, you knew what an inspiration she was. She never let anything keep her down.

She enjoyed shopping, watching the Kansas City Chiefs, KU Basketball, sister’s night out, aunts and cousins’ weekend, and exercising. Her nieces and nephews were a source of joy and she loved spending time with them.

Lisa was predeceased by her father Robert Hoffman and cousin Karen Hoffman.

She is survived by her mother Barbara Hoffman, sisters Joyce (Mike) Cassidy and Janice (Scott) Asher. Nieces-Dana (Jason) Lyons, Emily (Mike) Brandyberry, and Catie (Dan) Storey. Nephews-Darren Lyons, Adam (David) Asher, Patrick (Bre) Cassidy. Stepmother Nancy Hoffman, cat Maxwell P. Hoffman, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will take place at Penwell Gable Funeral Home, Olathe, KS Wednesday, April 23, 2025 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm.

Rosary Service will also take place the same evening of the visitation at 6:30pm.

A 10:30am Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, April 24, 2025 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Olathe, KS

Burial will follow the funeral mass, and will take place at Resurrection Cemetery, Lenexa, KS
