Linda Mae Walsh, 77, of Leawood, Kansas, passed away on October 17, 2018 at the University of Kansas Medical Center.
She was born on September 17, 1941 to Alford and Opal (Rich) Aldrich in Walthill, NE.
Besides being the most amazing mom, Linda had many other job adventures; including business owner of the Ice Cream Kastle in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Before retiring, she worked as a medical billing manager for Children's Mercy Kansas City. When she wasn't working she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, traveling and watching her grandchildren in their many events. She was beloved by all who knew her.
On February 22, 2014, she married Charles William Schneider. Linda and Charles lived in Leawood, Kansas.
Linda is survived by her loving husband, Charles, her children Dana Hanson, Marlon Cloud, Tiffany Martino, Angie Biegler (Tim), and Katie Walsh; grandchildren, Shyia Gregory (Travis), Alicia Thomas, Drew Martino, Kaelin Walsh, Sean Biegler, Abby Richardson, Jake Biegler, Gracie Biegler; great-grandchildren Taylor Sumner, Bailey Sumner; great-great grandchild Wyatt Sumner. Completing the family are Charles' children Charles Schneider (Becky), Ed Schneider, Pam Schneider, Billy Schneider, Jenny Schneider; 15 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years Frank Clair Walsh, mother Opal A. Aldrich, father Alford Aldrich, brother Marion Aldrich, grandson Charles Hanson, Jr.
We will miss her smiling eyes and her love for life will live on within her family.
Services will be held Saturday, October 20, 2018 at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 1307 Holmes Street, Kansas City, MO 64106
