Linda L. Renz, 65 of Prairie Village, passed away over the weekend at home.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests a contribution to Wayside Waifs.
Linda was born May 14th, 1947 in Salina, KS to Leo and Lelia Strahan. Linda was the twin sister of Larry Strahan and spent most of her younger days in Lindsborg, KS. She attended Bethany College in Lindsborg, where she earned a degree in education. Linda was a dedicated teacher for 35 years spending most of her time in the Shawnee Mission district teaching 2nd and 3rd grade. Linda's love for her students was second to none and left an indelible mark on their lives. In addition to teaching Linda played the piano, loved music, dancing, and had a special place in her heart for animals. Linda was a dedicated mother who will be dearly missed and forever loved.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Lelia and Leo Strahan and is survived by her sons, Stephen (Ani) and Ryan (Sarah) Renz, and her grandchildren Grace, Ashlin, Chip, and Quinn Renz. Also by her twin brother, Larry Strahan, his wife Pam and their children Ward, Lindsay and Megan.
