Linda Darlene Duncan-Elliott was born June 17, 1955 in Hannibal, MO to Wilbur and Virginia Duncan. She attended Rural Special High School in Fox, AR and graduated class of 1973. She continued her education at Wright Business School and graduated in 1993. Linda had several occupations throughout her life ranging from diner waitress to administrative assistant, but none more important to her than the job of being a mother and wife. Linda was a very crafty woman, always working on an art project or decorating for the next Holiday. She enjoyed going to craft shows, flea markets, and could never pass up a good garage sale. Linda was a dedicated member at Life Mission Church and never turned down the opportunity to lend a helping hand, be it to a friend or family member. She always looked forward to one specific church event, Tres Dias. It was this event that brought her in contact with so many of the people she would now consider to be a part of her family and strengthened her relationship with God.
She was preceded in death by her parents Wilbur and Virginia Duncan.
She is survived by her husband of 15 years and best friend Virgil Elliott. Her two sons, Shawn Lucas and his wife Tina Lucas of Nixa, MO, Shane Lucas of Kansas City, KS. Her grandchildren Teagan and Eliza Lucas. Her sister Tana Lewis and husband JP Lewis of Kirkwood, MO. Her brother Bo Duncan of Klondike, TX. Along with many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the family for the medical and funeral expenses of Linda's unexpected passing would be greatly appreciated.
