Linda Faye Dugger DiSanto, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend - passed away on March 4, 2025 in Olathe, Kansas. Born on January 24, 1943, in Pulaski, Tennessee, Linda lived a life dedicated to her family and was passionately involved in pursuits that reflected her love for learning and connection.
Linda graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in history from Washburn University with plans of going to law school. Her professional career included various administrative positions within the fields of banking, retail, real estate, and manufacturing.
For two decades, Linda was an active book club member where she shared her love of literature, fostering friendships, and personal growth. An avid genealogy researcher for 35+ years, she diligently traced her family’s roots back to the 1400’s to preserve her family history for future generations. Linda also cherished road trips, exploring new places, and creating memories with her loved ones.
Linda married Allan in 1978 - a partnership that spanned over four decades until his passing in 2018. Their journey together included many loving and beautiful memories - full of family traditions, a love for cooking, and a passion for traveling. Traversing the US on many road trips, Linda and Allan also spent time in India and Italy - experiences that both enriched their lives and expanded their horizons.
Linda is survived by her devoted daughter, Nancy (Richard) Vaughn and her two loving sons, Dean (Liz) Wharton and Dan (Becky) Anthony - along with cherished grandchildren Jessica, Jenifer, Lauren, Garrett, and Luke - as well as her great grandchildren Andrew, Alex, Nora, and Avery. Each of them carries forward a legacy of love, kindness, and support that Linda demonstrated and instilled. She is also survived by her sister, Carol Ann (Don) Overly, and many nieces and nephews.
Linda will be remembered for her laughter and sense of humor, generous spirit, and unwavering commitment to her family and friends. Her beautiful presence, love for life, and encouraging nature will be missed by all who knew her.
