Linda Fletcher Daab

"Linda Fletcher Daab, 63, of Olathe, Kansas, passed away at her home on January 26th, 2022. She was born on February 16, 1958 to Richard and Laura (Van Brunt) Fletcher in Grand Rapids, Michigan. After graduating from Ohio-Wesleyan University, Linda began a career in Hospitality, Sales & Marketing. In the later half of her career, she dedicated herself to working in the Senior Living Industry. Because of Linda's personal experience with her own parents, she was especially passionate about raising awareness on Dementia and Alzheimer's disease, and provided resources, guidance and support to the families of those diagnosed.
Along with many loved ones, Linda is survived by her two daughters, Lauren (27) and Madeline Daab (26), her brother Bradley Fletcher, sister-in-law Kristine Fletcher, and nephews Matthew and Ryan Fletcher.
Aside from work and family, Linda was the ultimate animal lover and spent her life devoted to her beloved pets. Leaving the house in black clothing was nearly impossible, but a lint roller was always in reach.
To know Linda was to love her. Better known to many as "Flash," she was easily described as the life of the party - the type of person that could walk into a room of 100 strangers and leave with 99 new friends…To say that her family and friends will miss her greatly is an understatement. We hope that when you remember Linda (Flash), she continues to bring a smile to your face.
A memorial service will be held on her birthday, February 16th, 2022, at 5:00pm. Please join the family for visitation following the service.
Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 14275 S Blackbob Rd, Olathe KS, 66062.
In addition to the memorial service, a celebration of life and spreading of the ashes will be held for family and friends at the place she loved the most, Lake Michigan - details to be determined at a later time.
The family requests that donations be made in honor of Linda and her love for animals to Wayside Waifs Animal Shelter of Kansas City.
