LESTER B. "L.B." RATLIFF
Lester B. Ratliff, 88, of Olathe, KS passed away, Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at Royal Terrace Care Center. The family suggests contributions to charity of choice.
L.B. was born September 12, 1920 in Hardy, Arkansas to Powell and Annie Ratliff. He moved to Hutchinson, KS and lived there from 1954 - 1972 before moving to Olathe. He was Teamster Truck Driver, out of Local #541 until his retirement. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII serving from 1942 - 1946, serving in the Philippine Liberation and Japan Occupation Force.
He was a member of Amvets and served as Past State Commander in Kansas and Missouri, V.F.W. Post #2993, Earl Collier Post # 153 of the American Legion.
He was preceded in death by a brother R.J. Ratliff 2008.
He leaves his wife; Nita of the home, Sisters; Hazel Stone, Christine Gibson, Ardona Adams, and Dolly June Gilliland.
