LeRoy David Sorenson was born on Dec. 21,1968 in Graceville, MN. The name Graceville really describes LeRoy. Maybe his birthplace had a lot to do with the gracious, giving man that this baby became as he grew up. He was a gentle, generous, caring, gregarious individual that always looked for the best in people and was always ready and willing to give of himself to help them in their times of need. He passed from this life on Sept. 14, 2014.
He lived in many locations during his time here on earth, but Arizona was his favorite place, especially time spent at Lake Havasu, which will be his final resting place.
If everyone could read the many posts on his Facebook page, they would see just what an example LeRoy was to us all. He was the epitome of what a husband should be. He loved Gigi with the greatest love a man has to give, always giving, always caring, always her protector and champion. He was the kind of son every parent wants to have: hardworking, respectful, loving and devoted to family. He was the best of employees: loyal, resourceful & dependable. He was the friend that all of us need in our lives: kind, generous to a fault, caring and true- not to mention funny and entertaining to us all. He filled many roles in life including brother, uncle, and grandchild and did them all with a thankful heart. We will miss you, LeRoy. But the best news of all is that we will all get to see you again someday in Heaven, if we decide to do that & follow your example.
