Leona Nell Huggins, 83, Olathe, KS passed away at her home Wed., Nov. 5, 2008. The family suggest contributions to the Eagles Lodge Aerie #700 in Olathe, in her name.
Leona was born Jan. 26, 1925 to Guy and Edith Young, in Westphalia, KS living in Olathe since 1946. She was a graduate of Garnett High School in 1943. She retired from the Food Service Department of the Olathe District Schools in 1986 after 22 years of service. She was a member of the Eagles Lodge Aerie 700 in Olathe. She was a member of the Edgerton United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters; Dorothy and Ruth, brothers; Guy "Booger" and Dave, and a grandson; Tracy.
She leaves her husband of 62 years, Lester Huggins, son; C.L. (Diana) Huggins, daughter; Janeice (David) Rawles, brothers and sister; Freedia Fisher, Bob Young, Bill Young, and Gene Young, grandchildren; Mike, Dusty, Ben, and Shelby.
