Lenard Edwin Viers, 84, of Olathe, passed away on May 2, 2023 at Olathe Hospice House.
He was born on February 24, 1939 to Lenard and Mary (Lindsey) Viers at Leavenworth, KS.
He worked as a Engineer Draftsman for Hmong Manufacturing, before retiring in 2011.
On December 11, 2004, he married Lois Eldona Hollingsworth, and they made their home in Olathe, Kansas.
He was a member of Olathe Community of Christ Church, and he enjoyed traveling, jazz music, carving and whittling.
Edwin is survived by his loving wife, Lois, his children Christopher (Marianne) Viers, Misty (Mick) Wilczek, Russell (Julie) Viers, his grandchildren Jake, Emily, Violet, Hugh, Sage (Melanie), Patrick (Ashley), Kurtis, Parker, Megan (Jeff), Diego, Arturo, and Oscar.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
