Lena Verrone, 88, Olathe, KS, passed away Monday, December 25, 2006 at Villa St. Francis Nursing Center. The family suggests contributions to Villa St. Francis Nursing Center in Olathe.
Lena was born November 2, 1918 in West Bangor, PA living most her married life in Rochester, NY where she was a seamstress in the garment industry for 32 years before retiring.
She was preceded in death by her husband; John Verrone and sisters; Theresa Affronti, Betty Ortolani, and a brother; Albert Scarfaro.
She leaves her children; Patricia Wootton (Richard), Kathleen Hauser (Walter), sisters; Mary Palma, Katherine Palma, sister-in-law; Florence Scarfaro, grandchildren; Karen Mathes (Stephen), Gregory Wootton (Molly), Jennifer Eisenhauer and Eric Eisenhauer, and five great grandchildren.
